Mission Statement History & Background Shared Health Services Corporation was created in 1971 to reduce hospital cost, "or at least contain them", and improve patient care. By 1984 we were 100 members strong. In 1996, Shared Health Services Corporation joined a national group purchasing organization - Amerinet. In 2003, we added our Shared Purchasing Solution division which services the areas Educational facilities.
