Shared Health Services is the region's leader in the group purchasing organization field servicing Wisconsin, Southeastern Minnesota, Northeastern Iowa and Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

An affiliate of Amerinet, Shared Health Services Corporation promotes CHOICE , VOICE and VALUE.

Delivering solutions and achieving results means providing a total customer-focused portfolio of products and services that improve margins for healthcare and cost reductions for educational providers. We have looked beyond a traditional group purchasing portfolio to achieve standardizing cost efficiencies and premium value added services. We have partnered with healthcare and educational providers and suppliers to solve current industry issues and improve facility operating capabilities. Members will maintain dependable relationships with local distributors while enjoying access to hundreds of contracts with brand name suppliers.

Through a network of solutions offering data-sourced intelligence, clinical consulting and contracting, Shared Health Services Corporation will  continually enhance its commitment to delivering solutions & achieving results. 

As a member of SHSC, you have access to the wide breadth of the Amerinet national group purchasing contract portfolio consisting of over 1,400 contracts with a multitude of vendors.  In addition you have access to the entire value added portfolio of programs and services.

History & Background

Shared Health Services Corporation was created in 1971 to reduce hospital cost, "or at least contain them", and improve patient care. By 1984 we were 100 members strong. In 1996, Shared Health Services Corporation joined a national group purchasing organization - Amerinet. In 2003, we added our Shared Purchasing Solution division which services the areas Educational facilities. In 2007, sales were over $170,000,000 and members increased to upwards of 950.
